Laura Knoblach

Laura Knoblach is a Minnesota native living in Boulder, Colorado. In 2016, the 21 year-old became the initial subject of our documentary 60 Hours to Go. We were fascinated by her sheer drive and determination to complete a Triple Iron distance triathlon. She completed the race last October with mere minutes to spare, becoming the world record holder for that event in her age group. Now 22, she is about to attempt the longest, most daunting race of her young life, the Swissultra Deca Continuous Ultratriathlon. If she is successful, she will become the youngest human being to ever complete the race. We’re following Laura’s quest to make history.

Joey Lichter

Also known as “Joey Bag of Donuts”, Joey Lichter is a professor at Florida International University. This 36 year-old from Pembroke Pines, Florida has kicked ass in numerous ultra endurance races. From conquering a triple iron distance triathlon in the chilly Virginia October, to double iron distances in alligator-infested lakes while under the blistering heat and humidity in Florida. His mentality is inspiring to all of us working on this project. He told us, “if I can do a deca, you can come to Switzerland and make a Deca-mentary.”

And we will Joey, we will.
